Information used by the service

We store account details, password hashes and sessions; saved projects and home records; uploaded photos, videos and documents; trade profiles, enquiries, approvals, quotes, bookings, messages, reminders and support requests. Payment references and statuses are stored for connected payment features. Card details are handled by the payment provider rather than saved in home records.

Why information is used

Information supports accounts, matching, authorised project sharing, record keeping, requested support, security and payment checks. The intended bases are performance of the platform agreement, legal obligations where applicable, and legitimate interests in security and service operation. Optional public listing and project sharing are controlled separately. Final processing and lawful-basis records require review before launch.

Sharing and AI

Trade listings are public only after listing consent and approval. Selected project material is available to the professionals you authorise, subject to connection access. Service providers supporting hosting, storage, AI, email and payments process information needed for those features. AI photo assessment sends submitted image/brief content for analysis; avoid including faces, access codes or unrelated personal information. We do not use AI output as an independent safety decision or trade credential check.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept to provide the account and the history you choose to maintain. You can request access, correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained to address disputes, security incidents or legal obligations. A documented retention schedule, provider deletion/backup timing and international-transfer arrangements remain to be confirmed; no automatic deletion deadline is promised.

Your choices and rights

Use Help & account requests for a full data-copy request, corrections, objections, restriction or deletion, as applicable. The saved-home-data download is a partial export. Revoking sharing blocks future app access; it cannot recall copies already downloaded. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Device storage

Essential sessions keep you signed in. The app may remember display and login-audience preferences on your device. Hosting analytics and any optional tracking must be checked as part of the final cookie/consent review.
